Hello! I'm Alli, the author of One Pearl Button. I'm an archaeologist, crafter, and photographer in my late 20s who thrives on creativity. Some of my favorite things include Polaroid cameras; sharpies; thrifting; and locking myself in my studio, turning on some great music (often Camera Obscura, The Flaming Lips, The Shins, or Belle & Sebastian), and creating for hours. My favorite craft projects are simple, stylish, and make a big impact!
I've been married to my husband, Nate, since 2005. We're both huge scooter enthusiasts. We own a ruby red Vespa and dream of the day when we can afford another and we no longer have to share!

I'm passionate about animal rescue, and we live with a rescued cat, Caesar, and a retired racing greyhound, Perseus (Percy).

I love traveling and spend my summers working, taking photos, and being inspired in Italy and Greece.
About OPB...
Although I consider myself the luckiest person in the world to have my dream job, I firmly believe that everyone needs a hobby! OPB is mine. I primarily blog about crafting (especially sewing, embroidery, knitting, and crochet) and photography, although posts about fashion, design, and life in general pop up, too! My goals for this space are to share what I've created, to inspire readers to live their own creative lives, and to make connections with creative friends.
About OPB Studios...
In addition to OPB, I run OPB Studios, an Etsy shop where I sell prints of my Polaroid photos and other fun things made from them. Cincinnatians can also find my work (as well as my restored and film-tested vintage Polaroid cameras) locally at Fabricate in Northside.
