My brain has a hard time comprehending those diagrams in knitting books, so seeing videos is really helpful!<br /><br />The yarn is Lion Brand Fisherman&#39;s Wool - it&#39;s inexpensive and I love how natural it looks. Can&#39;t wait to see how they turn out!<br /><br />Stephanie- I always recommend the book: &#39;The Knitter&#39;s Bible&#39; to people learning to knit. It really helped me learn and because it is a few years old you can typically find it on half.com for a couple bucks.<br /><br />Also, I second the knittinghelp.com recommendation left by drop stitches not bombs, especially if you don&#39;t like seeing the jibberish on pages.
