Holiday Giveaway from OPB and The Impossible Project: Win a Polaroid Starter Kit!

polaroid kit title

I'm thrilled to be kicking off December by recreating OPBs most popular giveaway ever, made even bigger and better!!  This holiday season, I've teamed up with The Impossible Project to gift one lucky OPB reader with a Polaroid starter kit.  The kit comes with absolutely everything you need to make gorgeous instant photos!

polaroid giveaway 2

From me, the winner will receive a vintage Polaroid 600 camera, plus a Polaroid bucket bag.  The bag is one of the roomiest vintage Polaroid bags I've come across - there's plenty of space inside for your camera, film, and accessories, and you could probably even get your wallet and phone in there, too!

polaroid giveway 3

The Polaroid 600 One Step Flash will give you plenty of creative control with a close up setting, onboard flash (plus a flash override button), and a simple-to-use exposure dial.  Or, just point and shoot - either way you're going to come out with totally unique images!

polaroid giveaway 5

To make it even more exciting, The Impossible Project has generously contributed everything you'll need to get shooting with your new camera! The winner will receive two packs of PX film, one color, one black and white.  These are the latest film formulas, and optimized for use in 600 cameras.  You'll also get a frog tongue to shield your images from light while developing (this thing is so neat!) and a Dry Age Kit to make sure your images will last.

Whew, that is quite the haul of Polaroid goodness!  If you want to find it all at your doorstep, read on!

To enter:
Note: Since this giveaway was designed as a special gift for an OPB reader, you must be a follower to win.  Any means of following is fine!
First entry: leave a comment below telling us one thing you'd love to photograph with your new camera!
Additional entries: share this giveaway via Twitter, Facebook, or your blog.  Leave a comment for each place you've shared.
Feel free to steal this sample tweet: Win a #Polaroid starter kit from @alli_lucy and @impossibleUSA! http://www.onepearlbutton.com/2011/12/holiday-giveaway-from-opb-and.html

That's all there is to it!  Entries are valid through next Thursday, December 8.  I'll announce the winner on Friday.  Good luck!

PS - want some instant photo inspiration in the meantime?  Check out The Impossible Project Flickr group!

This is fantastic. I'd love to photograph my family & friends. They don't like having their photos taken because they feel like they see all their flaws, but with this dreamy style of shooting they'd see how magical and gorgeous they are!

Cool giveaway- the one photo that I would like to take would be of my family all together for Christmas. My parents are in their 80's now so there possibly won't be too many more with us all together.

I recently moved to a historical neighborhood, with many houses of Victorian build, dating back to the early 1900s (our house is sometime from the late 1880s). I would LOVE to capture all these beautiful homes in print & make some wall art from the Polaroids. I love doorways, especially.

(PS: I follow you on my Google Reader -- is that sufficient?)

Sam said...

Wow, this is the motherload of all giveaways (in my eyes)! I used to own a beautiful Polaroid camera that I used to photograph every single one of my friends that came to visit my apartment - by the end of that year, I had a whole wall of beautiful Polaroid portraits & memories!

Leigh Gonzales said...

I'd love to photograph all of my travels with a Polaroid - they always seem to capture the dreamy quality of my state of mind on such trips much more accurately than boring old digital :)

Momma Too Many said...

I would photograph my best friend with it. She sometimes gets herself down about not being 'skinny enough' since she does ballet and all the girls there are stick-thin, and she doesn't think she's pretty. I know for a fact she's gorgeous, and I would take pictures of her to prove it.

Samantha G. said...

Oh my goodness – this is such a dream giveaway!! I am a proud OPB follower via Google Reader, and to answer your question: I love photographing everything: my pets, my boyfriend, my little house, the creatures that visit our garden, the children I work with... sigh!

i'd love a polaroid camera to take pictures of my lovely family that i haven't seen in a year!
we have a christmas eve tradition of taking the perfect family photo that spirals into a mess as there is always someone who makes a silly face and prolongs the process. the best pictures are the ones that happen in between the 'good' photos that will eventually be our new years eve card. those are the pictures that really capture who we are, and that would be the perfect moment for a polaroid.
cheers!

I would love to photograph my boyfriend making snow angels because it's one of his favorite things to do and I love to watch him. It would be great to capture that moment on a traditional style of film.

I have wanted a polaroid camera ever since my grandma showed hers to me when I was little. I would use this camera to take pictures of my adorable rescue dog boo and my fiance as our wedding approaches, and then on the day of. I've always wanted to have pictures of the ceremony at the reception as part of the decor.
