With the holidays behind us, it was time for new mantle decorations in our living room. I decided to keep things simple this winter with some of my vintage cameras and original Polaroid pictures.

The larger framed pictures are from an old library image catalog - we found a garbage bag full of them in our storage space when we moved into our apartment. I think these three were the first thing we put up on the walls in this room (although they weren't originally in this spot), since we basically owned nothing when we arrived!

I popped the Polaroids into used film cartridges and stuck the cartridges to the wall with removable adhesive squares - super easy!

This isn't my entire camera collection, but I brought out many of my favorites. The Bell & Howell electric eye was my very first vintage camera. I like shooting TTV through it's crazy big viewfinder - it makes really surreal images.

The Argoflex Seventy-Five was my mom's first camera; she's had it since she was a teenager.
I usually keep my cameras scattered around different spots in several rooms, but I kind of like having so many of them gathered together. It makes me want to grab one and start shooting!
Have a good Tuesday!

The cartridges are absolutely genius. At first I thought the photos were mounted onto blocks of wood...this is waaay more authentic!
