Nice Things

Back to my regular blogging schedule means back to 'Nice Things' on Friday!  Here we go; a few things that caught my eye on the internet this week:

1.  This simple needle book tutorial from Freckled Nest is so great!  My needle book is a few years old and it gets A LOT of use; it might be time for a replacement.


2.  These printable vintage hankie notecards (from Eat Drink Chic) have been making the rounds on blogs this week so you've probably already seen them, but they are too sweet not to include here.  Love!


3.  I also love this project from fellow Sharpie Squad member Tali Buchler: make art with Sharpies and trashed encyclopedias.


4.  Craft has a great article up on DIY beeswax polish; I've never tried it on furniture, but beeswax is my go-to method for keeping leather shoes looking nice.  Unlike shoe polish, it's actually good for your shoes, and it helps waterproof them.


5.  EZ at Creature Comforts always has the best printables.  How cute are these apple and award notecards?


6.  You'll definitely want to check out Jess' (of How About Orange) fantastic technique for printing fabric using painters tape.


7.  Finally, I am completely and totally enamored with this wedding (shared on Design*Sponge).  If I could do it all over again,* this would be a huge source of inspiration!

*Of course to the same guy.  And keeping our original wedding too, because it was pretty fabulous.  Maybe what I need is some sort of ridiculously over-the-top vow renewal for our ten year anniversary, haha!
