A Meeting on the Amalfi Coast

Oh my, the days are passing quickly!  I have some extra responsibilities this season that have me busy busy busy all day long; I didn't realize that it had been nearly a week since my last post until I was talking on the phone with my sister this evening and she pointed it out (thanks, Tina!).  So, here we go: more photos!

It's nice that my research advisor and I have very similar attitudes about work.  We both figure that a meeting can happen anywhere, so why not have it somewhere beautiful?  With that in mind, we jumped in the car last week and headed for a dinner meeting on the Amalfi coast.

I don't want to give the impression that I don't like our normal coffee shop meetings in Cincinnati (I do love the campus coffee shop), but it's tough to compete with southern Italy!

I'm an archaeologist who lives in America during the year, but travels to Italy and Greece to conduct research every summer.  I'm currently living and working in (and blogging from) Pompei, Italy, where I spend my days digging up the ancient city.
