Little Pink Camera

Whew, that week flew by!!  I've been busy busy busy digging and thinking about the past, which keeps me happy, if occasionally feeling a bit stressed.  Nate's sister and her boyfriend are here visiting Pompeii this weekend; today we are off to Sorrento to catch a ferry to Positano and enjoy the gorgeous landscape of the southern Bay of Naples.  Of course, the most important question for me is which cameras to take!  I'm thinking my SLR and the SX-70, although together they are going to make my bag soooo heavy.  Too bad I can't take this little pink plastic camera, which I bought from a souvenir vendor outside the archaeological site.  It doesn't run film, but if you look through the viewfinder and click the shutter, you'll see a variety of circa-1970s touristy pictures of Pompeii.  Love it!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Glad you're having a fab time

I love those little cameras - I remember being about 7 and my little brother spending a LOT of his holiday pocket money on one with random scenes of France. It was something very magical indeed
