And of course, a day by the sea isn't complete until you've eaten a totally unpretentious dinner of fresh caught seafood at a plastic table by the docks. Perfect!

At the Beach
So, I often realize that I'm fairly spoiled here in Italy. Although the work is demanding and sometimes stressful, life is pretty fabulous overall. I never realize that more than when I spend a day laying by the sea. That's exactly how I spent Saturday and it was totally fantastic, especially since I had the awesome company of my sister-in-law and her boyfriend. I love it when family comes to visit!

Those pictures are INCREDIBLE! I've been reading your blog for about a week, and have a desire to become gifted in photography and live in the mediterranean. Alas that does not seem to be in the cards in the immediate future. I do love pretending like I'm there though!
