Can you believe I have not been to the thrift in a week? The last time I was there I bought a Polaroid. The square shooter 2 for only 1.91! Can't beat that.

I'm not sure I'd count that as a thrifty find because, if I can find one of those locally, it could cost me a good 150$ or more! D:

Love the camera!

I've found a couple neat typewriters and two days ago, I found cute skirts in styles and colors I like... and they fit me perfectly. It was amazing. One of them was even handmade of the coolest fabric

Very cool! I recently found a countertop corkscrew for wine-lovers like me and didn't buy it because of budget restrictions. Regretting it. I think you did well in your purchase.

Love it!! Last weekend I scored an Alvin and the chipmunks record and a wood and navy necklace that was probably from the 70s!

Awww I love old cameras. I always want to buy them, but I know I won't really use them, so I resist.

I so want one of those!!! I do more shopping at antique stores here - we have a couple that have a decent amount of budget-conscious items, but our thrift stores around here are filled with utterly worn out clothes, smelly books (and not the good book smell), and mismatched coffee cups. But I love my antique stores! I found a pristine Holga imitation from the 80s recnetly - except for some reason the film won't advance. I am still tinkering, though I have ni idea what I am doing!

Awesome find. Does it work?
I found a Minolta Uniomat a few weeks ago (Made in the 1960's) for $20 AUD. It was marked $22 but the lady was new and couldn't work out how to do $22 on the register :) Lucky me! hehe I was afraid it wouldn't work but bought some film, took some shots at a party I went to and in my garden and they came up a treat! Just have to work out the focus as a few were blurry (but I did have a few wines by that point! haha) so good find for sure! I had decided if it didn't work that it looked cool on the shelf anyway!
