Nice Things

Wow, as summer approaches the weeks are flying by faster and faster.  Here are the few of the many nice things I came across online in the past seven days!

1. Making my own bias tape is something that I've wanted to try for ages, but have never gotten around to doing.  I love this super clever method from The Prudent Baby (and how awesome is that automatic bias tape maker?).

{via Craft}

2.  This is amazing - a ball of tissue paper filled with fabulous vintage surprises!  Read all about Andrea's experience opening her's at Hula Seventy, and find your own here.

3.  I wonder if I'll have time to make Allyson Hill's Eco Travel Lid before our department's Memorial Day picnic on Monday?  It would make a potluck dish so much cuter!

{via Whip Up}

4.  Fellow Sharpie Squad member Erica at PS I Made This had the great idea of covering plastic objects with gold spray paint.  Voila - nearly instant luxe home decor!

5.  Sew, Mama, Sew! has been publishing Reader's favorite sewing tips - check out Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.

6.  Jen at Indie Fixx has another adorable printable out this week - flowered notepaper!  Aren't these perfect for spring?

7.  Finally, don't miss Creativity Boot Camp, led by Maegan of Madeline Bea.  It starts June 6th, is free, and looks like it's going to be totally amazing.  Find more details here!

PS - I have one more nice thing to share today: OPB's makeover is officially finished!  I love the new look, designed by Anna of In Honor of Design.  If you're reading in a reader, stop by and take a peek.  I'd love to hear what you think!

I also have a new blog button up; for those of you who display an OPB button on your own blogs (thank you and huge hugs to all of you!), you can update if you'd like.

Thank you, Anna; working with you was fantastic!
