I think the last one is my favorite; I love how the sunlight is hitting the buds on the tree. This little outing reminded me that I don't play with TTV often enough - it's such a fun technique.

Springtime TTV Photos
I know that the weather is a pretty boring topic and that I've already blathered on about it quite a bit in the past few weeks, but I can't help it - I love this time of year! On Saturday afternoon I grabbed my Duaflex and headed out to take some TTV shots. Spring flowers are so lovely but so fleeting. They perfectly encapsulate one of my favorite things about photography: its ability to make me stop and fully appreciate the things I see around me.

Oh man, I love it! Keep on posting the spring time!! sadly for me even if it was not still cold here I live in the desert so there is nothing to bloom. Not even grass :( So I am loving your pics!

I hear ya- I just came inside from taking pictures of everything that was blooming in my yard. I love the contrast of the pale pink with the bright blue sky on the first one. nice!

I like these photos a lot, especially the first three, -- interesting format, I like the curved corners and the little bits of black dust-like stuff.

I love spring pictures and talking about spring weather! These are lovely. Our spring flowers are already fading, so it's nice to see pictures of flowers still in full bloom!

I'm so glad that you all aren't sick of spring! Giulia, you should try TTV. It's so fun, and the supplies are really inexpensive. It's the best of both worlds - the character of film with the ease and cheapness of digital!

Thanks, Nicole! It's great to hear that - I was thinking about ordering a few of these the next time I make a print order (probably in a week or two, depending on how my current stock goes) and seeing how they do in the shop.

I was really starting to get excited about all the spring weather and then...I looked at the weather report for San Diego and guess what's in store for tomorrow. Thunderstorms. Great pictures.
