Nate says "thank you" for the birthday wishes! We had a great weekend celebrating. On Saturday, we had friends over for a party, and much hilarity ensued. For some reason, when our group of friends get together we always end up engaging in some form of competition. This time it started off with push-up contests, then moved on to arm wrestling, crab walk races, and finally (the most hilarious and dangerous of the group) sliding down our building's marble staircase on pieces of cardboard. I'm not really sure what the contest was there, but it was really funny.
Sunday was a bit tamer; we went out to brunch, then lazed around the house in the afternoon. S&D came over in the evening for cake, and S made Nate's favorite - angel food, made from scratch with homemade whipped cream and Kahlua on top. It was delicious!
Not a bad way to ring in Nate's 27th year, if I do say so myself.
How was your weekend - did you do anything fun?

Looks like you guys had a great time. Loving the polaroid and instax.
I worked on my first two pages of my journal, cleaned and watched my kids fly kites.
