What I'm Wearing: Fit for Mos Eisley

Drapey grey cardigan: made by me (following Megan Nielsen's great tutorial)
Teal long sleeved tee: Hebron Gap Outlet
Skinnies: H&M
Boots: Nine West (from Nordstrom Rack)
Belt: Old Navy
Jewelry: wedding rings, covered button earrings (made by me), petrified wood pendant (from a Cypriot flea market)

Today I'm giving an exam rather than lecturing, so that means it's a dress down day for me (definitely a good thing when I have to trek to school in ten inches of snow!). The star of this outfit is my new cardigan, which I made this weekend thanks to Megan Nielsen's fantastic instructions. I've been wanting a drapey cardigan for awhile, and this one was so quick and easy to make (bonus: this heavy jersey has been sitting in my stash for nearly two years - yay for finally using it!). Nate says that the cardigan reminds him of Jedi robes, and I'm totally okay with that, haha. If I can't actually use the force like a Jedi, at least I can dress like one. If only I had a lightsaber to go with it!

Have a great Wednesday! Be on the lookout for a craft post later this afternoon - I want to show you guys how I used my DIY vinyl stickers!

Thanks, everyone! This cardigan is sooo comfy - I loved wearing it today.

Bethany - you should make it! It was such an easy project, maybe 2 hours tops.

Thanks for the living room compliment, Trish! I've been working on filling up this big wall with things that I love.

Love it! must know though - are you ever stressed out on Wednesdays when you're getting dressed? Go through like a dozen outfits until you the perfect one to be photographed in?

Thanks, Megan! I loved the tutorial and can't wait to try out some of your others.

April, occasionally I do feel like I have to have a particularly "good" outfit on Wednesday, and sometimes I end up changing outfits (although usually only once, since I'm *always* in a hurry in the morning!). I try really hard not to change the way I dress or to "dress up" on Wednesday's though - I want the WWW posts to represent my style everyday, not just on Wednesdays!
