Wow, it is *really* snowing here! I worked from home this morning then went running into campus (okay, speed walking - I was late!) for a few meetings with students, only to be told when I was halfway there that the university had closed at noon. Now I'm back home and attempting to motivate myself to get some good dissertation work done, when all I really want to do is curl up on the couch with a movie, some hot chocolate, and my ever-growing pile of granny squares!

How about some TTV grannies?

(note: taking TTV photos of the ground is tricky!)
Fifty-five squares done, and ummmmm...a lot to go! I know that some of you are also working on granny square afghans, how are they coming?

I love the colors you chose!
Can't get the hang of turning corners, so I am jealous of your granny squaring-skills, too.
It is about to start snowing here within a few hours. Wish I still lived on Hosea, because a snow day filled with friends, movies, and yarn sounds worth procrastinating for! stay warm!
a good friend just told me she is pregnant... a good excuse to start a baby blanket!
I'm excited, because that snowstorm you're getting is on its way to me! And it's been a pathetically snow-free winter, here in upstate NY.
OO!! I'll bet this is going to be the cutest blanket ever!
I love the colors you choose for your blanket! It takes a while to make a blanket, but it's so worth it!
creative color combo. I really need to learn how to knit! i stopped by my Grandma's yesterday and she is crocheting the coolest peppermint swirl blanket. Loves it.
All I have to say is....WOW!
Love it!
Meg
Those are really lovely colors! They feel very classic, almost preppy, and not something one would expect for an afghan. I'm excited to see the finished product!
What a great colour combination! It makes a change to see those colours together.
;-)
Love the colors!! Its going to look awesome when you are done..
Forever would be the best way to describe how mine is coming. It takes forever...
I am so impressed! I can't wait to see the finished product! :)
You have good taste.. ^-^
I only hope I have the time to make one of this too..
Aw, I wish you still lived on Hosea too, Jen!
Drew, I love the idea of a granny square baby blanket - so cute!
Thanks for the compliments on the color scheme - it was the result of a surprisingly fast time spent in front of the Cascade wall! I was a little concerned with how quickly I made the decision, but I'm happy with how the colors are coming together.
those are amazing, love those photos!
Thanks, Danielle!
