Okay, not very inspired today, but I have other things on my mind; as soon as I'm done teaching this morning, I'm headed to sunny (I hope!) California for our giant annual archaeology conference. I can't wait to see friends who live far away, but I must admit that I'm not as excited as I normally would be. I think I'm still recovering from that exhausting break.
I'll be back to blogging on Monday - I'll miss you all!

cute outfit :D
Great outfit! Hope you have an awesome trip :) Sunshine and heat would be wonderful! It's -15C here today and we've got 4 feet of snow lol..
I'd wear that. Oh, how I miss California, have fun!
You are just lovely! Have a fun and safe trip!
By the way, you are living the life that I dreamed of as a little girl, I wanted to be an archaeologist, I have always found history so interesting! But, now I just live vicariously through your blog and the History and Discovery Channels, sigh! Have a great trip and I can't wait to read more on Monday!

I live in San Francisco, California and it's been pretty 50/50 on sunny weather! One day it's all foggy and overcast, the next day it's bright and sunny. Definitely plan on layers!!
The patent oxfords are so cute, and I really like the striped skirt with the striped belt.
I hope you have a lovely trip!
cute I love it!
Look at how cute you are! Can't wait to hear about your trip!
super cute! i wish i had the guts to wear oxfords like that!
Love your outfit. Hope you have a great time!
Lovely Lovely :)
You look sooooo pretty as usual. I'm wondering where your conference is. My brother is an archaeologist in California.
Hope you have a brilliant time. I can nearly guarantee warmer weather waiting for you in my home state.
Sailor schoolgirl is one of my favourite looks! I'm often found sporting such a combo. Looks much better on you though, of course.
Very cute! I like the dueling stripes.
Have fun at the conference - wish I could go :)
I was thinking the other day that a cross-comparison shoot with all of your cameras would be neat, highlighting what they could do; if you were looking for inspiration.
You guys are too sweet, even when I'm feeling less than pulled together!
Meg, you should volunteer on a dig sometime -there are lots of opportunities for hobby archaeologists!
Joanie, the conference was in Anaheim, and I basically never left the hotel (the only escape was a few hours spent in Malibu at the Getty Villa). Anaheim definitely isn't my favorite place I've been, but the weather was glorious. Larkin, I love that post idea! It will probably take me a little while to get it together, but I really want to do it.
