It is another COLD day, so layered sweaters were in order this morning. I've been trying to experiment with different silhouettes lately (not that I don't love my usual 'slim&belted,' but sometimes a little variety is in order). With that in mind, I grabbed a big thrifted sweater and tucked it into my skinnies (the same ones I wore on Friday - the core pieces of my casual wardrobe tend to get recycled pretty quickly when I'm not regularly dressing up to teach). I didn't expect to be a big fan of the look, but I think it's growing on me. I'm definitely going to do some more playing with tucking big-into-slim.
PS - using the word "skinnies" made me think of Daddy Likey's hilariously awesome post on irony creepers. I nearly LOLed my drink all over my computer upon reading that last night. Yes, both "skinnies" and "LOL" are irony creepers for me.
PPS - holiday yarn decoration tutorials are coming this afternoon!

I moved my coffee well away from the laptop when I went to read that.. it's hilarious.
I've gotten into layering as well these days with all this snow we've got. Multi layers of socks, sweaters, scarf, hat, 2 pairs of mitts etc.
Can't wait to see the tutorial!
I love the necklace! Very cute outfit :)

Thanks, everyone! Good call on the coffee, Aislynn - Daddy Likey is hilarious. Carrie and Sarah, I love my ballerina necklace too! I might not dance anymore, but I can still pretend.
