Bonus! Since I didn't take photos on Wednesday and I had a few extra minutes this morning, I decided to take some outfit shots. It's FREEZING today (literally, it was 19 degrees when I left the house), so my outfit is all about keeping warm.
Navy cardigan: thrifted
High-waisted skinnies: H&M
Off-white cardigan: made by me
Teal tee: Gap, Hebron gap outlet
Light blue pashmina: ummm...no idea. I've had this for at least six years.
Polka-dot scarf: Zara, purchased while I was running around Rome with my brother and sister-in-law this summer (so much fun!)
Navy boots: Nine West, Nordstrom Rack
I decided to take some layering cues from fashion bloggers today: layered scarves a la the Academichic girls, and layered cardigans inspired by Mary's Wishlist (via Uber Chic for Cheap). The boots are a new addition to my wardrobe. Nate was lucky enough to get a Christmas bonus this year; we put most of it into savings, but set a little aside to buy something fun for ourselves. I wasn't sure what I was going to get, until I found these. Perfect height, perfect heel, perfect toe shape, perfect pretty brass buttons and ruffly bits up the side. Decision made.
