It is a grey, grey nasty day. As you can see from the photo, my apartment was basically pitch black this morning. Yuck! I took today's outfit cues from the weather: grey and black, but with a bit of hopeful light built in with the purple tights and gold touches. Somehow whenever it gets cold and rainy I feel like it has been cold and rainy forever. The weekend was beautiful and even Monday was nice, but two days of rain seems like an eternity to me! Maybe the pops in my outfit will help to remind me that the rain is temporary...or maybe I'll just keep being pessimistic!

so cute! i never thought about layering tights like that. not only super cute, but super warm!
The purple tights are oh so fabulous!!
Love your 'pop'. Bright tights have been keeping me very warm this fall. Sometimes I prefer wearing a skirt+tights over pants. For some reason, it feels warmer!
Thanks, everyone! Melynda, I think tights are warmer than pants, too! I feel like pants let cold air up around your legs, and tights hold all the heat in. Toasty!
love it! I seem to be wearing lots of grey at the moment, especially grey tights, but I like them enough to cheer me up on dull days
Thanks, Rhiannon! What would we do without tights?
