White shoes: Steve Madden (purchased years and years ago when we lived in Boston. I remember the exact day, because I lost my wallet at Downtown Crossing. Argh, that was soooo not fun.)
Jewelry: silver bangle (gift from Nate's aunt); wedding rings; pearl studs (gift from my parents)
This outfit is a bit (a lot?) wacky, but I find myself liking it anyway. The shoes were a last-minute addition. When they caught my eye this morning, I thought of how many silly fashion rules I'd be breaking by wearing them (three off the top of my head: no white shoes after labor day, no tights with peep-toes, no hosiery that is darker than your shoes...are there any others?), and I knew that I had to do it. I feel so deviant.

I absolutely LOVE this outfit. I am quite the rule breaker myself, I suppose... although I guess I'm so defiant that I don't even know the rules I'm breaking! :D
Anyway. I'm in love with the sweater, and the skirt is so cute! And has pockets! I'm partial to the circle skirt myself, but I have to say I love yours!

I have been rockin' some charcoal grey tweed tights with my black peep toes all fall. I think it's so funnny that you posted this b/c everytime I put on the combo I think about how I am breaking the rules...but I don't care b/c I love how it looks!
