1. This awesome print from VisuaLingual. Really, I wanted to buy their entire booth (good thing they weren't taking credit cards, or I just might have). Everything in their Etsy is now on my Christmas wishlist, especially this amazing print. I see my building!

2. I also grabbed a set of VisuaLingual's Bar 1132 Coasters, which are already in heavy use on our (messy, mess) coffee table.

and some little stuff:
3, 4, and 5. Postcard, earrings, and flashcards from Wholly Craft. How cute is that name? Plus, the photos of their store make me want to move to Columbus and live there. And by "there," I mean in their store, obviously.
6. Birdie patch from Off the Beaten Path - this might find it's way onto my Charlie Bag. I loved all of their prints.

I was also lucky enough to be one of the first 50 people (just barely, I think there was *1* bag left after my friend A. and I went through the line) in the door, meaning that I got to take home an awesome grab bag. Look at all this good stuff! Craft supplies, Readymade Magazine, coupons, fun little gifties, and promotional materials for great shops!
And what do I see peeking out of that big old pile?

Hey - I know that blog! Credit for my very first card goes to Mayamade and Sweetie Pie Press, whose awesome security envelope projects inspired the graphic (I like it so much that I suddenly want to make everything out of security envelopes). Thanks also go to Nate, who suggested the stitching.
But what was my very favorite thing of the day? This awesome print (another from VisuaLingual, of course), which I found in my grab bag. A penny farthing bicycle?! Way too cool! I loved it so much that I had to frame it and hang it up immediately. Hooray!

OMG I got those same earrings from Wholly Craft when they came to Chicago during the summer for a craft fair!!! How funny..
I love your card! That stitching is such a sweet detail. And that '99 Problems' postcard is hilarious - I'm tempted to embroider that saying and hang it on my wall.
That's so funny, Kristen! I guess that's proof that our styles mesh well. Thanks, Giulia! I was happy with how the cards turned out. I'd love to get them professionally printed next time. Isn't the postcard fantastic?
Great day. I'm equally fond of all of my purchases, and I've gotten mad compliments on both the T-shirt from Wholly Craft and the tote bag from Off the Beaten Path.
My penny farthing is yellow with a blue background, situated over an urban plan. Its cool, but I think yours is cooler. Its on my bulletin board if you wanna take a look.
Oh I'm so jealous of all your finds! That looks like it was such a great show. I love Cincinnati, I ran the flying pig half marathon a few years back. Both my husband and I loved the city(we are true midwesterners I suppose!). Your coffee table looks similar to mine...only yours is less messy. We even have the same glasses!
wow, what a hawl, I live in a small town so I buy crafted things on Etsy or try to make them myself
Yours sounds cool, Ali! I'll have to come over and see it.
Melynda, that's so neat that you've run the flying pig! I didn't expect to like Cincinnati before I moved here, but I really love it now. Our coffee table is Ikea LACK - cheap and chic. I love those glasses; it's too funny that we have matching stuff!
Michelle, I think Etsy is the greatest site for that reason - it makes it easy to get handmade goods no matter where you live. Making them yourself is always fun, too.
Alli, it was great meeting you on Saturday, and it's awesome to see our work in your home!
It looks like a great show, and that grab bag looks like so much fun! Gotta love a surprise.
Maya - it was great to meet you too! Yes, Barbara, the show was fabulous and it was so much fun to find all the surprises in the grab bag! I wish there was a craft fair to go to every weekend, haha.
