What I'm Wearing: Summer to Fall

Gingham Sundress: Forever 21
Black Blazer: Ann Taylor, thrifted
Black Long-Sleeved Tee: Banana Republic, from the Hebron Gap Outlet
Black Tights: TJ Maxx?
Black Pumps: Target
Accessories: wedding rings, vintage gold bangle and gold belt (both belonged to Grandma Ellen), no earrings, since I forgot to put them in (I don't function at a very high level before 10 am. Of course, today I don't seem to be functioning at a very high level after 10 am either, argh!)

I put very little into storage when cold weather rolls around - basically just my archaeology clothes, shorts, and sandals. Everything else I wear into the fall and winter. This outfit demonstrates a good formula for converting a summer dress into something suitable for cold weather: with a blazer, thick tights and solid shoes added into the mix, you are good to go!

How lovely :)
And as for storing summer clothes/winter clothes, I basically have one set of clothes that gets more or less layered depending on the temperature. This whole storing things has confused me for far too long!

Yeah, I'm with you Rhiannon - I try to milk my clothes for all weather!

Thanks, Mr. Puffy! (love the name, by the way)

That gingham dress is divine! I'd just want to twirl in it all day long :)
